Functional Overview:
Lead all activities associated with labor utilization.
Using strong data analysis, this position will own driving continuous improvement within the plant as well as tracking of all cost projects.
Responsibilities:
- Provide ways/methods to eliminate all types of waste in the production process
- Core team member of the FI and WO pillars within World Class Manufacturing (WCM)
- Drive continuous improvement through detailed analytics
- Support Whirlpool Production System (WPS) implementation by providing leadership to continuous improvement teams
- Drive operations to achieve short/long term labor productivity targets
- Support scoping of cost projects within the Ottawa facility
- Ensure all new models/parts efficient integration into operations
- Deliver required to run manpower analysis
- Own all costing, routers, line balances, labor utilization for the plant
Basic
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s Degree in Operations or Engineering
- 1
years of engineering experience in a manufacturing plant
Preferred
Qualifications:
- Strong data analytical skills
- Thorough understanding of Lean manufacturing, with an emphasis on Value Streams and Standardized work
- SAP and costing (routers, deletion factors) experience
- Well-developed communications, conflict management, coaching, interpersonal, and team-building skills
